Features – What We Found
Skid/Flip Reaction on Medium to Heavy Oil Conditions
The 900 Global Zen Bowling Ball features the S77R Pearl coverstock, which provides a skid/flip reaction on medium to heavy oil conditions. This means that the ball will skid through the front part of the lane before making a strong angular motion on the backend. The skid phase allows the ball to maintain energy and carry through the pins, while the flip on the backend helps open up angles for better pin carry and increased strike potential.
Monster Meditate Core for Massive Hitting Power
The Zen Bowling Ball is equipped with the monster Meditate core, which is the largest core produced by 900Global to date. This symmetric core design provides massive hitting power, delivering strong and powerful pin action. The core’s size and shape contribute to the ball’s overall hook potential and hitting power, ensuring consistent and powerful reactions on the lanes.
Magenta/Teal/Silver Color Scheme
The 900 Global Zen Bowling Ball features a visually striking Magenta/Teal/Silver color scheme that stands out on the lanes. This vibrant combination of colors adds a touch of style and personality to your bowling game, making you stand out from the crowd. Please note that actual colors may vary slightly from the picture shown due to manufacturing variations.
Consistent Reaction for Improved Performance
The combination of the S77R Pearl coverstock and the Meditate Symmetric core provides the Zen Bowling Ball with a consistent reaction on the lanes. This means that the ball will consistently read the lane conditions and provide a predictable motion. With this consistent reaction, you can make more accurate adjustments and improve your overall performance, increasing your chances of hitting the pocket and achieving high scores.
Designed for Medium to Heavy Oil Conditions
The 900 Global Zen Bowling Ball is specifically designed to excel on medium to heavy oil conditions. The S77R Pearl coverstock and the Meditate Symmetric core work together to provide the perfect combination of skid, flip, and hitting power needed to tackle these challenging lane conditions. Whether you’re competing in league play or tournament settings, the Zen Bowling Ball can help you find success on oilier lane conditions.
Our Review and Score
Our Score: 95.0
I recently purchased the 900 Global Zen Bowling Ball 15lbs and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. As an avid bowler, I always look for a ball that can provide a skid/flip reaction on medium to heavy oil conditions, and the S77R Pearl coverstock of the Zen ball delivers exactly that. It allows me to open up angles and achieve a strong backend hook, resulting in great carry and increased pin action.
What sets the Zen ball apart is its monster Meditate core, the biggest core produced by 900Global to date. This symmetric core provides exceptional hitting power and a consistent reaction. Whether I’m struggling with my other equipment or need a versatile ball for a league night, the Zen ball never disappoints. With my personal throw of 16 mph and 350-400 revs, both the pin up and pin down variations of this ball have been incredibly effective, although I find the pin down version offers more carry due to its energy storage through the pins.
In addition to its impressive performance, I also want to commend Bowlerstore for their excellent service. Despite being located in Indonesia, I received my purchase from them in perfect condition and on time. I highly recommend both the 900 Global Zen Bowling Ball and Bowlerstore for all bowling enthusiasts.
